After 20 years of servicing many of her family members and friends, as well as family members of friends, with resumes and practice interviews, she decided to extend her services and use her craft to help a broader target audience. Empower was launched May 2019 and has been evolving ever since. She has yet to experience an unsatisfied client, and many of them, not receiving any application call-backs, have been hired and/or promoted after working with LaTonya. Moreover, 50% of her client-base comes from referrals, which speaks volumes about her quality work, excellent service and genuine desire to support clients in reaching their career goals.

Throughout her career, LaTonya has worked in a myriad of office management and human resource administration roles. The one thing that has always stood out to her is the critical need for competent career coaching prior to, during and after completing a job search and acquiring a position. Job retention and continued career development toward advancement is essential to professional fulfillment and success.

In addition to the continuing education in which she engages daily, LaTonya received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Roosevelt University and her M.B.A. in Business Management from DeVry University’s Keller Graduate School of Management.
